This seminar conducted by Indy Arms’ own Senior Female Instructor, Meghan Lowery, will explore the many concealed carry options for women and review the pros, cons, and uses of each. Bring your friends and have fun exploring how to be safe, protect yourself and others, and remain stylish –and comfortable – with your options. Basic firearms safety, safely carrying, and safely presenting a handgun, when needed, will be discussed within the framework of the various products available to women for concealed carry. Many products will be available for demonstration and testing. This is a seminar style class with no live fire components and no previous experience or gun needed (“dummy” guns will be provided allowing the demonstration of many products).
The class is nominally two hours in length, but may sometimes run a little run longer, depending on attendance and the number of questions.
Course Goal
“To allow the student to make an informed decision regarding the safe carry and presentation of a handgun.”
Lessons
- Basic Firearm Safety
- Overview of the legal issues relating to carrying a handgun.
- Selecting an everyday carry factoring in risk, response, and comfort.
- Review of carry options.
- Discussion of proper and safe presentation.
- Review and Questions.
Prerequisites: None. If you already carry a firearm for self defense, this is information you should have. If you are considering this, it will assist you in making that decision.

***Please come in 15- 20 min early to complete the necessary check in process before any training class. This will give us time to verify your range waiver at the counter. This is also the time to buy ammo, Holster, Hearing protection, anything you will need for the class. Classes start promptly and we don’t want you to miss anything.***
