Can minors shoot at the range?

Minors are welcome and are the future of our sport. However, shooters must be at least 10 years old.  All shooters under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Do not leave children unattended inside the showroom or on the range.

Can the facility accommodate handicapped shooters?

Yes. Our range is wheelchair accessible. We have wheelchair lanes available in each range.

What type of safety features does the range have?

Our  next generation range is capable of stopping high-power rifle fire. We have concrete-filled masonry walls, ballistic shooting stalls, ballistic glass observation windows, and an industry-leading ventilation system. The range has a state- of- the- art fire detection system alarm and has been designed with safety as the number one priority.

What type of target system does the range use?

Our shooting range was designed and built by Action Target, the leading manufacturer of commercial ranges. Our targets run on steel tracks- not string or cable like some ranges. Our shooting stalls are four feet wide for extra comfort and feature LED task lighting overhead.

Are there any restrictions on ammo?

What do I need to do to shoot?

When you arrive, make sure your firearm remains cased until asked for by staff. Go to the range desk, check in and inform the staff that this is your first time shooting at IAC. You will need a picture ID to complete the check in process.  Range staff will then assign you a lane and insure that you have proper eye and ear protection as well as start your tab for the day.  You can purchase targets and ammunition at the check-in station as well. When you are finished shooting just check out, pay and pick up your ID.

How do I transport a firearm to your range?

All firearms must be unloaded and cased when being transported to the range.

Do you have rental guns?

Yes, we have a great selection of rental handguns and long guns. Check out our list of rental firearms: (add Link).

Can non-members use the range?

Yes, we have many shooters that are not members.

How large is the range?

We have 12 lanes divided into 2 bays.

Do you offer gun smithing services?

We offer armor level repairs like sight replacement and accessory installation. We are a Glock, Smith & Wesson, and AR15 armory and plan in the future to have a full- time gunsmith on staff.

Do you offer layaway for firearms?

We currently do not offer layaway.

Do you do firearm transfers?

Yes we do. The transfer fee is $30 per firearm. Members receive a discount on this price.

Do you special order firearms?

Yes. If we don’t have what you want we will be happy to order it; special orders require at least a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Do you buy and sell used guns?

Yes, we buy and sell handguns, rifles and shotguns.  We have an extensive inventory of pre-owned firearms.

What if I get delayed or denied when purchasing a firearm?

Indy Arms does not have access to the details of why an individual would be delayed and or denied and any concerns will need to be directed to the ATF.
