Indy Arms Company Range Ammo Policy
Indy Arms Company recognizes the ever changing times and regulations. We are proud to announce our environmentally friendly ammunition policy for both pistol and rifle. Our policy has been created as a result of the valuable feedback we have received from you, our customers. Our policy will allow shooters to have different types of experiences while allowing us to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
Indy Arms Company suggests the use of the following bullet types: Total Metal Jacket (TMJ), Total Copper Jacket (TCJ), lead free (XPB), frangible, Full Metal Jacket (FMJ), Full Copper Jacket (FCJ), and copper plated.
For .22 LR, .38 Special, 44 Mag, and .45 Long Colt, we allow the use of lead bullets. No other calibers will be permitted to shoot unjacketed or unplated ammunition without approval of range management.
Only new commercial factory ammunition in the original packing is permitted on the range. Remanufactured/reloaded ammunition must have a certificate of insurance on file with Indy Arm Company.
Between September 01 and November 30 shotguns are permitted; otherwise shotguns are permitted for selected training classes. Federal Flite Control Buckshot ammo must be purchased from Indy Arms Company for shotgun bein used in the range and or classes.
All ammunition brought into our facility is subject to inspection by Indy Arms Company staff members. Be prepared to have your ammo readily available.
Rifle shooters are permitted to shoot ammunition “up to” 7.62×39; 30 caliber bullet with a maximum case length of 45mm or 1 13/16 inches.

ALL CENTER-FIRE RIFLE AMMUNITION MUST BE PURCHASED FROM INDY ARMS COMPANY.
Please be advised that all armor penetrating, tracer, steel core, explosive, and incendiary rounds are strictly prohibited.
In accordance with the company safety policy, and for the safety and protection of all our guests and staff members, Indy Arms Company staff may check all firearms and ammunition for compliance while on the property. We thank you for your cooperation as we implement this ammunition policy.
