Tactical Handgun II

Tactical Handgun II is the second in a series of three Tactical Handgun classes that address the essential skills required to use a handgun as an effective self-defense tool.  Basic marksmanship ability and an understanding of the rule of law governing the use of force in self-defense are certainly a necessary part of this skill set. But for those seeking serious competence, a much broader set of abilities is required.  Each of the three Tactical Handgun classes builds on the skills and techniques taught and practiced in the preceding classes.

The class will consist of about 1 hours of classroom time and 3 hours of live-fire range time

The class requires about 175 rounds of ammunition.

Course Goal

To continue the structured development of the fundamental skills required to comfortably and effectively carry and use a handgun for personal  defense, building on the techniques and exercises previously practiced in Tactical Handgun I, in order to develop and refine those skills and add additional skills to the student’s defensive ability.

5. Use of Cover and Low-Light Shooting
6. Second Level Malfunction Clearing

Prerequisites: Students taking Tactical Pistol II should have completed Indy Arms Tactical Level Pistol I.  Individuals taking this class should have the personal handgun that they intend to use/carry for personal defense, along with a suitable concealment or carry purse with a dedicated department for firearms carry.  If you have any questions, please contact Indy Arms staff.

Course Completion: Students will receive an Indy Arms Corporation certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.

Cost: $99.00

Gear: Handgun, 175 rounds of ammo,a proper non collapsing holster for your firearm, a good stiff belt to retain your gun properly, 2 magazines, eye & ear protection.

***Please come in 30 minutes early to complete the necessary check-in process before any training class. This will give us time to verify your range waiver at the counter. This is also the time to buy ammo, Holster, Hearing protection, anything you will need for the class. Classes start promptly and we don’t want you to miss anything.***
