IAC House League

Due to staffing and Logistic issues the House League is on a temporary suspension for the remainder of 2023.  This event in a revised format will return in 2024!

The Indy Arms range hosts an indoor shooting league with two broad categories; Center Fire and Rim Fire and three subdivisions in each Stock (minor to no modifications with open ‘iron’ sights), Unlimited (anything goes and optics), and Rifle (pistol caliber carbine or 22 only). Each league consists of four matches over four months and is held the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 5pm-8pm

The House League at a glance (Center Fire: .380, 9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP, etc):

  • Held once a month, the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
  • Course of fire will be timed, and targets will be between 3-50 feet.
  • The courses of fire will be based on anything from speed, accuracy, to manipulation of the firearm (COF may include dummy round(s) to induce a malfunction clearance within the drill).
  • Cost of the event is $15.00 per handgun entry $10.00 for additional entries. ( Guns, Gear, and ammo are separate)
  • There is three categories: Stock (no or minimal modification and open traditional sights), Unlimited (most  modifications (sights, triggers, etc) and optics are allowed), PCC (Pistol caliber carbine, all pistol caliber carbines will be scored together.)
  • Range Officer has final say for PCC division approval. (NO 556, 762, bottle neck style ammo pistols)
  • PCC category will run double the handgun distance with a maximum of 50 feet
  • Each league will be 4 months long with each of the 4 matches having a “theme” to them ( accuracy, speed, etc.).
  • COF round count will be anything from 25-50 rounds. (Rules were changed during the 2020 ammo shortage, the more ammo becomes available round counts will increase again.)
  • Each of the 4 months will have an overall score with an overall winner in each category.
  • Each match will have a match winner (highest point total) in each category.
  • Scoring will vary by match, but all decisions of the event staff are final.
  • League matches do not require and special equipment outside of ear & eye protection and a safe functioning pistol.
  • The overall league winner in each category will be determined by totaling all match scores in the league.

  • Rifles are shot from a supported position
  • Handguns are shot from a standing position
