The Shooting Stars of Indy Arms is proud to present Stars Skill Builders, a series of classes that welcome our female shooters to continue their learning in a safe, fun, female student only environment!
Stars Skill Builders are classes approximately 1.5-2 hours in length, and will require 50 rounds of ammunition for live-fire on the range. Each session will focus on a small group of handgun skill taught by an Indy Arms instructor. Each skill builder is focused on a specific defensive/tactical/ accuracy skill set.
Stars Skill Builders will be taught in the classroom and on the range using dry and live fire practice for a cost of $20.00. Price does not include ammunition or rental guns.
Participation will be tracked each year and certificates will be awarded for successful completion of multiple Skill Builder sessions at the end of each year: Attend any 6 or more different Skill Builders for a Certificate of Distinction, and attend 9 or more for a Certificate of Mastery.
Most Skill Builders will be practiced from low ready; however, a reliable outside the waistband (OWB) holster can be used for any Stars Skill Builders.
Prerequisites: Students should have a basic understanding of firearms safety having completed Indy Arms’ Introduction to Handgun, Basic Defensive Handgun, or similar course.
Course Completion: Students completing six or more Skill Builders at any time will receive a certificate

Customer Responsibility/Gear:
- Complete Liability Waiver prior to the start of class – Click Here
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class for check in
- Handgun and 50 rounds of ammo
- Optional: Outside the Waistband Holster
NOTES:
- Rental handguns must use ammunition purchased from Indy Arms
- Students under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult (ask about a youth discount for training classes)
- Students arriving more than 10 minutes after the designated start time may not be allowed into class and may need to reschedule
- Each ticket reserves a spot for class – please ensure you attend if you buy a ticket, as there are limited seats available!
***Please arrive 15- 20 minutes early to complete the necessary check in process before any training class. This will give us time to verify your range waiver at the counter. This is also the time to buy ammo, holster, hearing and/ or eye protection or anything else you will need for the class. Classes start promptly and we don’t want you to miss anything.***
